Presentation of the show
With the know-how acquired over the years, the CFIA Rennes is the essential annual meeting place for the food industry, in the heart of Europe’s leading food-processing region. It is the real crossroads for suppliers to the food industry.
The 2023 edition will mark the 26th anniversary of the show!
For more than 10 years, Bretagne Développement Innovation has been piloting the “Usine Agro du Futur” platform in partnership with the Valorial competitiveness cluster and now the ABEA.
This collective action federates many partners of innovation of the Breton and Western agri-food industries: technical centres, Bretagne Commerce International (BCI), …
The Agri-Factory of the Future collective platform, one of the flagship events at CFIA – hall 6
Welcome to the era of environmental, digital, energy, human and food transitions… subjects involving the adaptation of skills, automation, new manufacturing processes for manufacturers, to be discovered on the Agro Factory of the Future space.
Environmental transition, digital transition, energy transition, food transition, recruitment, training and adaptation of skills, automation and new manufacturing processes: the world is changing at full speed and consumption patterns are evolving at the same frenetic pace. The agri-food industry, which meets a vital need of the population, has no choice but to constantly adapt. Faced with new consumer needs, the high demands of distribution (itself undergoing major changes), regulations and new standards, increasingly rapid market cycles, environmental and societal challenges and ever-increasing competition, the food industry must be reactive and able to make its factories and production methods evolve.
Three areas to discover
The partners of the Agro Factory of the Future will offer visitors three areas to discover:
The “Innovation Hub / Partners of Innovation” area, which brings together the partners of the Agro Factory of the Future. They will be present throughout the show to answer visitors’ questions.
The “Showroom” Companies and technical centres have mobilised to offer visitors a new circuit of innovative demonstrators (presentation of the players to come)
The “FoodTech Village” will bring together a dozen start-ups and innovative companies that will be exhibiting for the first time at the show.
